He was married to Gweneviere Rucker for 41 years. Johnny had a career in Brick Masonry and was also an artist and photographer. Johnny had a passion for wood carving, photography, family and sweets.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kathleen Johnson and Herman Rucker; daughter, Cindy Krak; brother, Billy Rucker; sister, Connie Rucker; nephew, Ricky Rucker, grandparents, Riley and Lucy Wilson;
He is survived by his loving wife, Gweneviere Rucker; sons, Ricky Cook and wife Pam, Jerry Lyons and wife Belinda, Randy Rucker and wife Cassandra; daughters, Deborah McDonald, Danyelle Lewis, Candy Dowies and husband Ralph, Sandy Blue and husband Gordon; sister in law, Joyce Rucker; nephew, Rodney Rucker; 27 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral services to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment Forest Park East Cemetery.
