Joyce Willeen Bracewell went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2010. She was born on March 10, 1930. Joyce was devoted to her late husband James. Together she shared many memories of their travels, her favorite was San Antonio. She loved Scottish Terrier dogs and over the years Joyce had a passion in collecting Antiques Dolls and Stuffed Bears. Joyce was a devoted Christian and a long time member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Pasadena. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Joe Cappleman of Austin; sister-in-law, Anita Cappleman of Austin; nephews: Brian Cappleman of Houston and Eric Cappleman of Austin; caregiver Garth McHenry and a host of friends at Colonial Oaks. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, 77598. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home followed with her burial in Forest Park East Cemetery.
