

Judith graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1968. She later obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston, Central campus in 1980. She was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Psi Chi Chapter of the National Honor Society and the Dean’s list during her scholastic career. Her last profession was in computer programming with Thogerson Computer Services in La Porte, Texas.
Judy is survived by her three daughters, Judith Alayne Hergert, Melinda Hergert, and Mollie Ann Richardson. She is also survived by her mother Thelma Mae Williams, her brother Jack Delaney Horn, Jr., sister-in-law Candice Lee Horn, her sister Janet Lisa McCorquodale, brother-in-law Donald K McCorquodale, her two grandchildren Michael Kern Richardson, Jr. and Mason Aaryn Richardson and numerous nieces and nephews. Judy battled with post-polio syndrome (PPS) and her family wishes to thank her doctors, nurses, therapists and care givers TIRR Memorial Hermann and Jordan Health Services.
A memorial celebration for Judy will be held at Clear Lake Church of Christ located at 938 El Dorado Blvd. in Houston, Texas at 10:00 am on Friday, May 31. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
