Julie was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s with her mother, Aileen Wang, and brother, Jason Wang, in search of a better life. She brought with her a quiet strength, an unwavering work ethic, and a deep devotion to her family. Julie was proud to call Clear Lake her home for over 50 years.
For 28 years, Julie worked as a beloved cafeteria worker at Clear Lake High School, where she served generations of students and staff with warmth, kindness, and an ever-present smile. Her dedication and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She retired in 2023, having touched countless lives through simple, daily acts of care.
Julie loved collecting figurines, cooking traditional Taiwanese dishes, and playing the piano. She had a special gift for making others feel welcome and cared for, whether through a home-cooked meal or a kind word. Her legacy is one of quiet generosity, humility, and unconditional love.
Julie is survived by her brother, Jason (and wife Niki). She is also remembered by extended family members and many dear friends whose lives she touched over the years.
A celebration of life will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Julie will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Julie’s memory to the Clear Creek ISD (CCISD Cares) lunch donation (ccisd.net/ccisdcares) — a cause close to her heart.
Julie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
