Larry Gonzales, Sr., 57, of Houston, Texas passed away on May 9, 2024. He was born in Houston, Texas on December 14, 1966, to Jesse and Delores Gonzales. He worked for the city of Houston for many years working towards obtaining his GED and Supervisor position of the bridge department for The City of Houston.
He enjoyed fishing, camping on the beach, a good suspense novel and relaxing on his porch swing with his two loyal and loving dogs, Jumper and Spot. He had a joyful sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke. He loved his family and made many friends during his lifetime, all of which will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Gonzales and brother Jesse "Pappy" Gonzales Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Delores Gonzales, brothers Ray and Adam Gonzales; ex-wife and friend, Rachel Hernandez, children, Crystal Carrion and Larry Gonzales, Jr.; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside inurnment will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:30 am at Forest Park East Cemetery.
