

He was preceded in death by both parents.
Leon was a loving and caring person that will be missed by everyone that knew him, especially his family. He was a proud veteran that served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict (1951-1953) and continued to serve as a member of the Texas National Guard through November of 1957. He attended LSU and graduated from McNeese State College in 1964. He worked as a Cost Engineer and Estimator in the Construction Industry, retiring in 1992.
Leon is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Thelma Reece; children, Maureen Kee (Doug), Michael Reece, Theresa Stevens (Chris), Joan Reece, Thomas Reece (Hayley) and Jennifer Reece; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, John Reece (Mary Agnes) and Robert Reece (Rosemary); along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Monday, November 29, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, November 29, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
