Lillian Ola Collins

Lillian Ola Collins passed away peacefully on July 8, 2014 at the joyful age of 95. She was born in Cashion, Arizona on September 27, 1918. Lillian married D.M. Collins in 1936; they were married for a total of 65 years. She retired after 17 years from Harris County Hospital District, where she worked as a patient registration clerk. Lillian was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Friendswood for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones the most. Lillian is survived by her daughter Sylvia Robinson; son Phillip and wife Evelyn Collins; and daughter Betty and husband Cecil Adair. She had nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great-great Grandchildren, along with numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Dehlia Nowlin; stepmothers Letha Nowlin and Gladys Nowlin; husband D.M. Collins; and son David Collins. Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Lillian’s celebration of life will continue at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday July 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Friendswood and proceeded by the burial at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Following the burial, lunch will be served at First Baptist Church in Friendswood. Flowers and memorial donations may be delivered to Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery.
