Linda Marie Anthony

Linda Marie Painter Anthony, 73, of Baytown, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was born in Atoka, Oklahoma on October 8, 1943 to Leon and Marie Painter. She was married to Lee Anthony for 55 years.

Linda had a career as a school secretary for Pasadena ISD. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Baytown. She was an avid reader, talented seamstress and creative with crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Marie Painter.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee Anthony; daughters, Kathy Felts and husband Tommy Felts, Denise Ridgway and husband John Ridgway; son, Jerald Anthony and wife Stacy Anthony; grandchildren, Stephanie Mesa and husband Jorge Mesa, Jason Felts and wife Brittany Felts, Jonathan Felts and wife Robin Felts, Brittany Briggs and husband Andrew Briggs, Jessica Sargent and husband David Sargent, Alan Anthony and Keiley Anthony; great-grandchildren, Luke Mesa, Leah Mesa and Aaron Briggs; brothers, Larry Painter and wife Charolett Painter, Tommy Painter and wife Kim Painter; sister, Sandra Pape; and other loving family members including in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral Services to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Park East Cemetery.
