Linda N. Sweeney passed away June 14, 2010 after a long illness. She was born March 13, 1951 in Groesbeck, Texas. Linda was a lifelong Houston resident and had worked as an office aide for Pasadena ISD. Her mother, Janell Nance preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband James P. Sweeney; 3 children, Jennifer Sweeney; Stephanie & husband Jacob McGowan and Thomas Sweeney; 2 grandchildren, Logan & Luke McGowan; father & step-mother Granvel J. & Ora Nance; 2 brothers, Larry & Ronnie Nance; 2 sisters, Glenda & Barbara Nance and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 1pm followed by funeral services at 2 pm Thursday, June 17, 2010 in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to follow.
