Lois Elnora Hubble “Granny” passed away April 14, 2012. She was born February 9, 1924, to Lillian Camille and William Newton Lasater, in Greenville, Tx. Nora was a pioneer in the workforce, beginning her career with the Corps of Engineers as a mechanical draftsman. In 1958 she moved to Alaska where she homesteaded 160 acres of land with her family. Returning to Texas in 1965, she continued her work with the Corps until her retirement in 1983. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Hubble, Sr., daughter Lillian Camille Moll and son Stephen Earl Hubble. She is survived by brother, Thomas J. Lasater; daughter Rebecca A. Stager and husband Charles; sons Donald J. Hubble, Jr. and wife Diane; Leslie A. Hubble and wife Sylvia and Henry Hubble. She was the proud grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of 9, and was adored by many nieces, nephews and friends. Honorary Pallbearers: Mark and Terry Stager; Dan Hubble, Alan Hubble, Brian and Brent Moll, Lance Lehl and Michael Thompson. Visitation is scheduled for Friday April 20, 6-8:0 0 pm,; Service Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East, Webster. Tx.
