Loxie Ann Schmitt was born on September 27, 1942 in Orange, Texas and passed away on January 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with Huntingtons Disease. Preceded in death by one brother, Loxie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Tom P. Schmitt; daughters, Letisha Douga LeBrun and Rhonda Douga; grandsons, Jake and Taylor LeBrun; four sisters; one brother, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Loxie was an avid scuba diver and loved to travel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, TX. The family will receive visitors from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Wednesday. A celebration of Loxie’s life will take place, after the visitation, at 3:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home followed by her interment in Forest Park East Cemetery.
