She was married to Enrique Martinez for 24 years. Mabel had a career as a senior buyer for the City of Houston for 22 years. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, traveling, watching tv, and shopping. She loved to spend time with her family and play with her puppies.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Lidia Martinez, grandfather Alberto Martinez, and grandmother Antonia Rivas.
Left to cherish Mabel’s memory are her loving husband Enrique Martinez, daughter Deanna Elisa Martinez, son Esteban Enrique Martinez, and sister/best friend Lilia G. De La Fuente.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 22 from 5:00PM-8:00PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mabel’s life will be Tuesday, March 23 at 2:00PM. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
