Margaret Basco

Margaret Ann Riley Basco, age 87, went to be with The Lord on 1-26-2012 after a short battle with Breast Cancer. Born at home to Ora Stoker & Jesse Riley, she had 3 children by former husband Elmer E. Basco. Her family of 11 children were Sharecroppers in the Floresville area below San Antonio. She raised her family and owned her business in South Houston,Tx. She was in business for herself as co-owner of Plaza Employment Service for 20 yrs. She loved studying the Bible & was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Pasadena, Tx..Left to cherish her as a wonderful mom are children Carla Rea, Brett Basco, and Curtis Basco. Her remaining siblings at time of her death are Luther Riley, Jonel Stanton, Drexel Riley, Oraen Riley, and Sally Bryant. She had 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Her funeral and celebration will be held @ 3pm on Tuesday, 1-31-2012, @ Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Tx. 77598 (281)332-3111. Friends are welcome @ 2pm to visit before the Service. Pastor Bill Cole of Sagemont Church will preside over the service. A program @ the service will give greater details of her extraordinary life, family survivors, and why Margie Basco will always be loved on earth and in Heaven. Burial @ Forest Park East will follow the service.
