Maria Cisneros

She attended Stephen F. Austin High School and graduated in 1972. She continued her education at Southwestern Business College where she received an accounting major.

She started her career in the insurance industry at US F&G in Houston. After years in insurance, she began a career in Oil & Gas at Tex Con, Enron and Matrix Corporation. She made many wonderful friends through her work, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Maria was a big fan of sci-fi movies, traveling with her best friend, Zelda and loved cruising during Halloween. After retirement she loved to do volunteer work at the Houston SPCA, Humane Society and Houston Museum of Natural Science. She loved her fur babies and rescued many cats during her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homero and Virgina Cisneros and sister, Leticia Cisneros. She is survived by her sister, Marty and husband, Ronald Iguess; nieces, Crystal and Annalisa Iguess; nephew, Eric and wife, Marissa Iguess and their children, Olivia and Owen Iguess.

A visitation will be held on October 21, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.

The funeral service will follow on October 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at the same location.

A committal service will take place on October 21, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
