Maria worked as a Customer Service Representative for Southwest Airlines.
Maria took great joy in raising her son. She enjoyed going to church and doing volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House. She used her creative side in the crafts she made. In her spare time you would often find Maria working on her scrapbooking, sewing and cooking. She also liked to travel, but most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Lee Sexton; mother, Dalia Treviño Peña and husband Baltazar Peña; father, Antonio Guerra; sister, Belinda Peña; brothers, Michael Peña, and John Michael Guerra.
A visitation will be held from 8:30 am to 10:00 am Friday, September 30, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life to follow at 10:00 am Friday, September 30, 2016 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment Forest Park East Cemetery.
