Mary Catherine Addis, 96, of Nassau Bay-Houston, passed away February 02, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Texas on July 17, 1919 to Mary McCrystal and Clyde Roy Seaton. Mary Addis had a career in nursing for Galveston County Memorial Hospital as well as a nurse in the Navy. She had a passion for crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Addis in 2014. Mary Addis is survived by her daughter, Peggy Walters; grandchildren Chaz Walters, Ross Walters, Phillip Walters and Christia Abell; and great-grandchildren Ethan Walters, Colton Walters, Addisyn Walters, Zach Kitzke and Jaxson Walters. The Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held Thursday, February 8, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
