Mary A. Shannon, 90, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away June 22, 2017. She was born in Pelly, Texas on May 25, 1927 to James H. and Mary D. Ainsworth. She was married to Henry E. Schuster for 4 years. Mary worked was an office manager in the Hydro-Test Industry.
Mary had a passion for sewing and crafting. She enjoyed the peacefulness of being out fishing.
She was preceded in death by brothers, James M. Ainsworth, Clarence L. Ainsworth, Robert D. Ainsworth; sisters, Margie Bowen, Ella C. Riley, Rosie M. Dillard, and Barbara E. Kerr.
She is survived by son, James W. Shannon and wife Sandra; daughter, Linda Green; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; brother, William A Ainsworth; sister, Delie A. Carter.
The family will welcome friends Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to immediately follow at Forest Park
