Mavis Velna Berryman

Mavis Velna Berryman went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2010. She was born in League City, Texas to parents Frank Withers and Vanda Dugat on December 15, 1918. Mavis is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years A. Ellis Berryman; parents; grandparents, John Freeland and Letitia Benson Dugat; and sister, Letitia Goodman. She is survived by her children: Ellyse Bryce and husband Leon, Maurice Berryman and wife Peggy, and Rick Berryman and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Carolyn Terrill and husband Mike, Garrett Bryce and Elizabeth, Archer Berryman and wife Emily, Alan Berryman, Andrew Berryman, Richard “Cody” Berryman and wife Rosa, and Kris Kylberg; great grandchildren: Kaysey and Ryate Sok, Hunter Kylberg, Madison Berryman, Kayleigh Berryman, Nathaniel Mason Berryman, and Fran and Victoria Arredondo; great-great grandchild, Jayden Sok; nephews: Frank Goodman and wife Teri and Jim Goodman and wife Carol; and numerous friends. Mavis loved her family and her animals. She was a lifelong resident of League City and a member of League City United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 followed with an interment in Forest Park East Cemetery.
