She leaves behind her younger brother Bill Wisdom, one son Roy King, 4 grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Originally, from the panhandle of Texas they moved to the coast in the early 60's. First to Galveston and then over to Texas City. Doyle had several barbers shops with his final shop being on 29th St. Nadine worked as a Dental Assistant to a local Dentist Archie Henkle for a number of years until he retired due to illness. After that, her life revolved around her family. After Doyle’s death in 1993 she owned Doyle’s Hair Shop until 2018 when her Dementia had progressed making it too difficult to continue.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 5 at 2:00PM at Galveston Memorial Park.
