Nancy Mosel

Nancy Ann Mosel, 73, a longtime resident of Friendswood, TX, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2016. Born August 15, 1942 in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Jane Sullivan. Nancy is survived by her daughter Gretchen Mosel of Friendswood, TX; son Douglas (Christy) Mosel of Lucas, TX; brothers David (Barb) Sullivan, Larry (Carol) Sullivan, Pat Sullivan; sisters Carol Sullivan, Kathy (Fred) Zitzmann, and Peggy (Mike) Mauck; and grandchildren Davis and Berkeley Mosel. She was preceded in death by her husband Duane Mosel, brother Dan Sullivan, and sister Jan Bostwick.

Nancy graduated from Texas Western College (now UTEP) in 1964, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Nancy married Duane Mosel in 1967 in Pasadena, TX. She spent 34 years as a teacher in both the Pasadena and Friendswood school districts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
