Nell P. Webb

She was 97. A native of Glenmora, Louisiana. Nell spent her childhood in Baton Rouge, LA, graduating from Baton Rouge High and attending LSU. She made her home in Pasadena, Texas. As a Certified Professional Secretary, she was an Administrative Assistant in the Petroleum industry.

Nell relocated back to Baton Rouge in 2015 due to health reasons. She was a 70-year member of Beta Sigma Phi, a long-time member of Jane Phillips Society, and was involved in numerous community activities. Nell was an active member of Sunset United Methodist Church before moving to Baton Rouge.

She is survived by nieces and nephews in Louisiana and Texas. Preceded in death by husband, Hylton O. Webb; parents, Fred A. Palmer, Sr. and Lena Shows Palmer; brothers and their spouses, Fred A. Palmer, Jr. (Mickie), John Stanley Palmer (Alta), Paul E. Palmer (Lonnie), nephew, Larry Palmer, and two great-nephews.

A brief graveside committal service and burial will be held at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 11:30 AM.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Carpenter House and St. Joseph's Hospice in Baton Rouge.
