Pat Wooley

Anita Patricia Wooley, 82, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2016. She was born September 19, 1934 in Galveston, Texas to William H. Martin and Anita Margaret Weinberg Martin. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Wooley; three children, Gail Pierce and husband Gary, Robert Wooley and wife Dorothy, and David Wooley and wife Amy; five grandchildren Brian Pierce, Kristen Pierce, Robert Wooley, Christopher Wooley, and Xena Wooley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Rose Martin and Dorothy Robinson.

Pat graduated from Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. She married Bob in 1958 and raised their family in Dickinson.

Pat loved family. She enjoyed reading, crochet, traveling, and volunteering at her church, her children’s school, Girl Scouts and various organizations. She was a wonderful provider and was always willing to lend a helping hand to people in need. She set a wonderful example to others with her care and generosity. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 10310 Scarsdale Blvd. Houston, Texas 77089. A committal service will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. A reception to be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home following the burial at 4:00 p.m.
