

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dennis Hearn, and son, Brett Hearn. She is survived by her brother Bill Dennis and wife Sandy, sons Bruce and Brad Hearn and wife Carol, and daughter Ann Hearn and significant other Randy Driver.
Paula graduated from Westfield High School in Indiana in 1950. She entered the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and obtained her diploma in nursing in 1953. Paula then received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University in 1956.
After moving to Texas in 1968, Paula worked as a registered nurse at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena for 22 years, and retired in 1990 as the Assistant Director of Nursing. She was respected and liked by all with whom she worked. After her retirement, she demonstrated her compassion and spirit of generosity by volunteering with Interfaith Caring Ministry, League City Texas for 10 years. She further extended her generosity by donating to organizations associated with disabled veterans and children charities.
Paula was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church in Clear Lake City, Texas.
She thoroughly enjoyed her children and grandchildren, Mitchell and Marshall Hearn, Daniel and Dennis Driver, and Holly and John Hearn.
Paula’s family will miss her dearly but are greatly comforted knowing she will be spending eternal life in Heaven with her loved ones. She had a heart of gold and gave unconditional love to her family and friends.
Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Organization or any children’s charitable organizations.
