Pedro G Ortiz

Pedro Garza Ortiz Jr, 88 years old, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on January 10, 2017. Pedro was born in Mathis, Texas on January 28th, 1928 to Pedro and Maria Ortiz. He was married to Juanita Razo Ortiz for 27 years.

Pedro worked as an electrician and television repairman both for H&H TV Repair and Hovas Furniture and was also self-employed. Pedro had a passion for singing and music, he could play the guitar, accordion, upright double bass, piano and electric keyboard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Juanita; and his sister Janie.

He is survived by his children Susie, Janie, Leonor, Paul, Mary, Patricia and Theresa; his siblings, Nicolas, Vidal, Juan and Fredrico; his 14 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment is immediately after at Forest Park East Cemetery.
