Peggy Wimberly Webb passed away on August 11, 2014 in Pearland, Texas. Peggy was born in Thornton, Texas on February 13, 1929. She was preceded in death by her mother, Renie Dickey Wimberly, and step- father, Walter Clyde Wimberly, husbands Jules L. Laird Sr., Roland Bastian and Noel Webb. She is survived by her son, Jules L. Laird Jr. and wife Denise, daughter, Sharon Laird, grandson, Joshua, granddaughter Alyson, great-granddaughter Isabella, sisters Jo Robinson and Virginia Haley, stepchildren, Randall Bastian, Tim Webb, Pam Roberts, numerous family and friends, and beloved dog and constant companion “Dolly”. Peggy was retired from Harris County Criminal Courts and enjoyed RV traveling all over the U.S.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas. A celebration of Peggy’s life will follow in the chapel at 12:30p.m. Peggy will be laid to rest immediately following the service in Forest Park East Cemetery.
