Percy Earl Thomas a longtime resident of Seabrook, Tx. was born on Aug. 16, 1920 and went to be with his Lord on April 10, 2012. Percy is preceded in death by his beloved wife Effie, his parents Joe and Arie Thomas of Logansport, La. He is also preceded in death by his ten siblings. Percy leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Percy was a highly decorated soldier in World War 2, serving in the Army in the Italy campaign. He was awarded two bronze stars and numerous other campaign ribbons. Percy was a faithful member of Nassau Baptist Church for many years, before becoming a member of Bacliff Baptist Church. His last five years he lived at The Cottage of Spring Branch under the loving care of the staff. Services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 12:30 PM, It will be officiated by Pastor Paul Thommason of Fair Haven Methodist Church at Forest Park East funeral home, 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Tx. 77598.
