

He was born September 3, 1951 and raised in Houston, TX. He met his wife Margaret of 48 years in 1972. He was serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Hood, TX. Once he got out of the ARMY in 1973, they got married and bought their first home on beautiful Torrington Lane. They started their family where they had their first daughter Tonya in 1975, and second daughter Miranda in 1977. In 1999, they had their first grandson and then 4 more grandchildren to follow that completed them. His new role became "the world's greatest pawpaw" He already held the title of "world's greatest Dad".
He served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1973. He served in Vietnam where he was awarded 2 bronze stars for his achievements.
His hobbies consisted of cars (any and all kinds, mostly classics), fishing, attending his grandkids sports events, gardening, cleaning, his dog Miley, his parrot Polly, his grand furbabies Jaxieboy and Reina, and his great grand fur baby Mia. He also enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with his V.A. buddies.
He is proceeded in death by his beloved Mother Rose Johnson, his sister Brenda Lyons, and niece Rebecca "Becky " Lyons.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Robertson, daughters Tonya Robertson-Kuhn, Miranda Riley and husband Chris Riley, Grandchildren Jacob Kuhn, Justin Kuhn, Coby Riley, Logan Riley, and Mandilynn Riley, his sisters Carolyn "Jennie" Cicherski, Sandra Robertson and husband Joe Hernandez, and Linda Elder and husband Jimmy Elder, several brother and sister in laws, brother in laws, and nieces and nephews.
He was a kind and generous man who never met a stranger. He always offered great advice and words of wisdom. He built numerous lifetime relationships with people. He had such a big heart, a million dollar smile and a laugh you could never forget. You could always count on him for a laugh and great stories. He was the guy that anyone and everyone could always count on for no matter what. He truly left his legacy here on earth.
A visitation for Randall will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
