Ray was preceded in death by his parents William Addington and Betty Pearl Burke; sister Juanita Miller; and first wife, Josephine Musachia Addington.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth of 15 years; brother Bill and wife, Dawn and sister Charlotte Cartee and husband, Bill. Three step daughters Sharon Mixon and husband Mike, Rosanne Patronella and husband Chris, and Liza Lanzo and niece Donna Mixon. 7 step grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray was active in Unico, served as a Corporal in the US Army, and received an honorable discharge on October 1, 1945.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2014 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5560 Laurel Creek Way Houston, TX 77017. Interment will follow the Mass of Christian Burial at Forest Park East in Webster, TX.
