Rayford G. Booker, 78, of Houston, TX passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. Mr. Booker was born in Houston, TX on October 24, 1937 to Rayford and Ruby Booker. He was married to Deanna Booker for 33 years. Ray had a career in Hazardous Material Transport for Liquid Transport Company. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles and had a passion for fishing and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Nettles Booker; mother, Ruby Grace Booker; and wife, Deanna Booker. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Grace Booker; son, Elmer Ray Booker; son, Stephen Wayne Booker; and granddaughter, Stephanie Rae Booker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
