Joan was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, and working in her younger years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Davis and son, Bruce Davis.
She is survived by sons, Donald Ray (Barbara Ann), Michael Anthony (Sally); grandson, Joshua James Davis (Janis); granddaughter, Beverly Jene; great-grandchildren Grace, Gavin, Liam; Kylee, Ryan and Waverly, step-grandson, Travis Walking Stick (Laura); sisters Minnie McBride and Vivian York, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Joan’s life will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel, concluding with a Committal service in Forest Park East Cemetery. A reception will follow, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in Reflections of Forest Park East Funeral Home.
