

Robert “Bobby” Russell Redman, 28, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He was born in Webster, Texas on May 1, 1987 to Steve and Brenda Redman. Bobby had a career in the restaurant and bartending industry. Remembering Bobby will be easy to do because he was such a wonderful son and friend to everyone he met. He never met a stranger. As a child, Bobby loved to play basketball and soccer. As an adult, his love for basketball and football continued in a big way. He loved to cheer on his favorite team, the Rockets. Music was also a big part of his life. He was a huge fan and admired his brother, Steven’s, musical talents. He would attend every concert possible to show his love and support. Bobby had a larger than life personality, a big heart and an infectious laugh. He would always encourage others to do their best. He was a true friend! He was known by his friends and family as one who gave big hugs and had a care free spirit. Bobby had a great sense of humor just like his mom and papa. He had a love for camping with friends, he was a lover of life; living every day to the fullest. Bobby would want his family and friends to do the same, so remember him in your memories and have no grief. Let the happy times we knew remain in your hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert G. Brown; grandfather, Russell Redman; grandmother, Sharon Redman; and uncles Scott, Chris and Russell Redman. Bobby is survived by his mother, Brenda Redman; father, Steve Redman; brother, Steven Redman; half-brother, Patrick Redman and wife Pam; grandmother, Betty Brown; aunts and uncles Bill and Carol Moss, Tim and Mary Bulot, Mike and Sara Lutz, Eric and Stacy Wiseman, Debbie Mitchell, Kim Turnquist and Tonya Nicholas; and loving girlfriend, Alexandra Jackson. Pallbearers will be Steven Redman, Joseph Bitterly, Corey Samson, Eric Overstreet, Cam Rowe, and Patrick Redman. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Bobby’s Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Bobby’s family requests that all visitors attending the visitation and funeral wear a tie-dye shirt and jeans; Bobby was known for his tie-dye.
