He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Gale Swift, his two sons, Robert Swift, wife Kathy; Dale Swift, wife Elena; three grandsons; Brian, Justin, James, step grandson, Andrea: one granddaughter; Erin, step granddaughter, Tasha; and one great grandson, Brandon with one great granddaughter soon to be born.
Wayne has three surviving brothers, Arthur G. Swift, wife June; John L. Swift; David L. Swift, wife Jean; Sisters: Jane Swift Taylor, Ann Swift Braden, husband Glenn, and many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Wayne worked for Gerland Food Stores for over 30 years. He was a avid sportsman who loved fishing in the gulf waters, deer hunting and enjoyed challenging the best in the game of pool.
