Rolando "Rollie" Javier Sanchez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rolando Javier Sanchez, a cherished Father, brother, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend. Rolando Javier Sanchez born on August 5, 1960 in Edingburg, Texas entered his eternal rest peacefully on July 28, 2025 at the age of 64 in Webster, Texas. "Rollie" as called by his loved ones was a proud husband to Olga and father to Venessa Monica, Rolando Javier and Adelaida Marie as well as grandfather to Viviana Cristina, Ernesto Leopoldo, and Sol Graciela. He was the youngest of six children born to Amadeo Jasso and Teresita, faithful brother to Andy, Nelda, Norma, Peter, Amadeo, Lisa, Eddie, Rita and Samantha. Rollie never met a stranger, he befriended everyone he encountered, shared his life with everyone, tried to make everyone smile, and was a fun-loving nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. He fondly remembered the days as an operator at Bayou Cogeneration Plant. You always knew when he was around, felt protected in his presence, and could count on a scare or a laugh that stayed with you for days. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elida Arminda and his parents Amadeo and Teresita. He is survived by his loving children, siblings, and a community of friends who will continue to honor his memory by living with the same grace and compassion he displayed every day. A service to celebrate Rolando’s life will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. Rest in peace, dear Rolando. Your spirit and love will continue to blossom in our hearts.
