

Rosario Carrillo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024, at the age of 82 in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 6, 1941, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Jesus Espinosa and Prisciliana Montelongo Espinosa. Rosario was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Irene Canizales, and brothers Celestino Espinosa and Eusebio Espinosa.
Rosario, known for her loving and kind nature, touched the lives of many with her dedication and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rosario leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her daughters, Rosa Palmira Carrillo-Mendoza and Yesenia Carrillo Palos, and her son, Oswaldo Carrillo. Rosario's grandchildren, Anjelica Marie Markert, Matthew Markert, Luis Mendoza, Victoria Palos, Karina Palos, Daniel Elias Palos, Gavin Carrillo, and Aiden Carrillo, who were the light of her life. She adored spending time with them and was always there to support and guide them.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Rosario is survived by her son-in-laws, Eddie Mendoza and Daniel Palos, and her daughter-in-law, Melissa Carrillo plus countless nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her grand pups, Niko, Osito, Tofu, and Honey Bun, as well as her grand cat, Blueberrie.
Rosario had a passion for gardening and travel. She found joy in nurturing her garden and watching it flourish. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures brought her immense happiness. Rosario also had a heart for helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, who brought endless love and laughter into her life.
A ceremony to celebrate Rosario's life will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. Forest Park East Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements and will assist the family during this difficult time.
Rosario Carrillo will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, kindness, and dedication will forever be remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
