Roy Owen Yaple, 56 of Friendswood, Texas, passed away April 30, 2011. He was born May 14, 1956 in Upland, California. He served in the United States Navy from June 1972 until May 1978. Roy worked for Baker-Hughes since 1984 and was currently a maintenance manager at the Bayport Facility.
Roy was preceded in death by his father, Allen Paul Yaple and mother, Grace Gertrude Strohmenger Yaple. He is survived by his wife, Mary F. “Francie” Yaple; son, Ray and his wife, Holly Yaple; two granddaughters, Morgan and Reese Yaple; a sister, Sally Williams; a beloved pet, Velvet; many other relatives, coworkers and friends.
Memorial Services are at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel.
