

Ruby Nell Higham, 94, of Kemah, Texas passed away on June 30, 2021. Ruby was born August 10, 1926 in Dothan, Alabama to Edwin Jackson and Media (McMillan) Ennis. She was married to Armon Jimmy Higham for over 50 years before his passing in 1998.
Ruby grew up in a small town in Alabama as a young country girl. Then moved to Mobile, Alabama with her family. She married Armon in 1943 and raised four sons while Armon traveled as a Merchant Marine. Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother; her family meant everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Armon Jimmy Higham; sons Jimmy Constantine and Alan Dirk Higham; siblings Elizabeth and Eloise Ennis; daughter-in-law Joan Marie Higham; grandson Derek A. Chachere and granddaughter Alyssa Higham.
Ruby is survived by her sons Armon Nick and Charles Edwin Higham and wife Karen; sister Christine (Ennis) McPherson; grandchildren Laura Clarke, Wendy Wilson and husband Darin, Jimmy Darrin Higham and wife Crissy, Victoria Thomley and husband Dwayne, Jason Higham and wife Leila, Andrew Higham and wife Lyndsey, Matthew Higham and wife Nicole, Armon Nick Higham II and wife Tara, Cary Garner and wife Leah; great-grandchildren Dylan Chachere, Perry and Audrey Watkins, Samantha Higham, Zachery Thomley, Bryson, Viviana, Karina, Jacksyn, Maddox, Harlow, Hendrix, Lennox, and Liam Higham, and Coy and Gabe Garner; and great-great-granddaughter Gabriella Thomley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation for Ruby will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service and committal to follow at 10:00 a.m. All services at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
