

He was born in Galveston, Texas on June 15, 1944 to Sidney Earl Williams, Sr. and Hazel Mae Cook.
Buddy was a long time resident of League City and graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1963.
He was married to Eleanor Mae Middlebrooks in 1964 and they were married for 8 years. They remained life-long friends and he continued to be a part of her family.
Buddy served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Marine Corps. He went to Boot Camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in San Diego, California in July 1966. He went to Camp Pendleton and learned his MOS: 0811 Field Artillery Cannoneer. Buddy served with the 1st Marine Division and rose to the rank of Lance Corporal. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Buddy was Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps in July 1968 and again Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps Reserves in April 1972. Buddy maintained life-long friendships with many of the men that also served their country.
After returning from Vietnam, Buddy worked for several years at Marathon Oil in Dickinson.
Buddy had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and loved riding with friends and family. He loved Harley-Davidsons so much he even named his dog, Harley. He also had a love for Corvettes and his Orange Corvette was his pride and joy. As a young man he could be found many afternoons working on cars in his yard.
Buddy was a very generous person and made friends wherever he went. He could be found having coffee at Shipley’s Donuts or the Waffle House most mornings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Hazel Williams and his sisters, Shirley Williams and Sharon Seaman.
He is survived by his brother, John Williams and wife Debbie and his sister Patsy Seaman, along with many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
