Susan Jeanette Brown was raised in Houston, Texas, and later moved to Pearland during her teenage years, where she graduated from Pearland High School in 1971. Just one year later, in 1972, she met and married the love of her life, Glenn Alan Brown. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed two wonderful children, Christopher and Allison. In later years, Susan was overjoyed to become a grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth.
Professionally, Susan worked for many years as a medical biller. Her career reflected her deep interest in medical knowledge and her diligent work to help raise her family.
Susan will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor, her unwavering love, and her generous spirit. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her passions included family, her faith, horses, dogs, music, and sports. She faced life with a fighting spirit and a kind heart, always ready to support others and offer her strength (and maybe a gift) when it was most needed.
She touched many lives with her warmth and selflessness, and her legacy lives on in all of us.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father Dr. Donald C. Chapman and her sister-in-law Carolyn Chapman.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Glenn Brown; her mother, Beverly Chapman; her son Christopher; daughter Allison and her husband Brian Jones and their daughter, Elizabeth; her brothers, Richard and his wife Kathy, David and his wife Laura, Kevin and his wife Chris, and Stephen and his wife Deborah; brother-in-law Gary and his wife Diane; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
