

Sue attended the Methodist Church and worked as a Teller at the Bank of Lucedale.
She attended Southern Mississippi College in Hattiesburg, MS where she began dating her husband, Zelton.
Sue married Zelton Knox Eubanks after he was discharged from the Army on June 2, 1953. Sue and Zelton raised their family in Dickinson, TX and were an active part of the NASA community.
Sue was a well-known piano teacher and worked for many years as an Office Manager at Mainland Allergy Clinic for Dr. John Perry in Dickinson, TX. She also worked for Patch Magic setting up showroom spaces at wholesale markets in Atlanta and New York.
In 2001, Sue and her husband returned to Lucedale, MS where they were very active in the community and were members of the First United Methodist Church. Sue enjoyed working outdoors in her yard and was a member of the Lucedale Garden Club.
Sue’s flair for interior design was reflected in her beautifully decorated homes. She could fix a wonderful home-cooked southern meal. She was a great hostess to family and friends alike. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren know her as “Memaw”. She and Zelton returned to the League City area in 2011 to be closer to family.
Sue is predeceased by her husband Zelton Knox Eubanks and sister Edna Jo Davis.
Left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Darrell Eubanks and wife Lois of League City, TX, Rodney Eubanks and fiancé Huira Han of Azusa, CA , Shawn Eubanks of Virginia Beach, VA and Chris Eubanks and wife Kriss of Dickinson, TX; 11 grandchildren Daniel Eubanks, Emily Mitchell, Starla Eichelberger, Bridgette Eubanks, Heidi Eubanks, Chase Eubanks, Samuel Eubanks, Jaden Eubanks, Hattie Eubanks, Zac Eubanks and Adam Eubanks; and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Suzanne will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, followed by a graveside service from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
