Tatiana Alice Young

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35

Tatiana lived out these words of Jesus. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and lived most of her life in the Houston area. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Fauntleroy and Ksenia Gaydebouroff George, her husband Frank, and son Robert. She is survived by her children Diana and Daniel; grandchildren, Stacy Young Betzing, Ivan Young, Lizaveta Young Lake, David Young, Alejandro Young, Christina Young, Uriel Young, Austin Young, and Emily Young; great grandchildren Tyler Lake, Hayden Betzing, Summer Lake, Zachary Betzing, Vanessa Young, Sierra Lake, and Joshua Young. She also leaves behind many, many other family members and dear friends.

She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic church , Shrine of the True Cross, and St. Pauls Catholic Church over the years. She was a Lay Minister of the Eucharist, a Bible study leader, and mentored many young people over the years. She also led Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops.

She was a light to many and will be missed by those whose lives she touched. We will celebrate her life with a visitation this Sunday, Nov 10th, 3PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home followed by a Rosary at 4PM. Those who attend will be invited to share their memories of “Tata”, “Tanya”, and “Mama Tanya”.

A memorial Mass will be held at Shrine of the True Cross Church in Dickinson Monday Nov 11th at 10:30AM followed by a light lunch and procession to Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
