Theresa E. Clifton, 77, of Dickinson, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 22, 1948 to Faye E. Davis and Thomas W. Sparkman, Sr. She was married to Roy Clifton for 39 years. She had a passion for her family and many interests including cooking, sewing, creative thinking, imagination, art, astrology, stargazing, spirituality, nature, and more. She was a creative thinker; she loved solving puzzles and worked crossword puzzles constantly. Theresa was a hardworking female all of her life. She was helpful to those around her. Primarily, she was employed as a bookkeeper and office manager throughout her adult life for various entities and individuals. One highlight of her employment was becoming the first fully licensed female in the state of Texas in the propane industry.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye and her father, Tom; her sister Rebecca; her brother Tommy; and by the many “pocket angels” she carried with her - she knows each and every one by name.
She is survived by her beloved husband Roy, her daughter Deborah Renee, and her son-in-law Jim Ross, as well as their family members: a son, Robert and his wife, Sammy and their children, Rose Lynn and Jacob Lee in addition to a daughter, Katheryn Paige and Anthony and their children Secret, Daisa, Lezlea Diane, Akilah, Jabari, and baby James. She is also survived by her siblings: her brother Mike and two sisters as well as their families. Also, she is survived by the relatives of her husband: Joan, Steve and Becky plus their extended family members.
