Thomas Aguirre, 86, of Houston went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2013. He was born March 7, 1927 in Brady, Texas. Thomas served in the Army during World War II. He married Lucia Cortez on July 2, 1950.
Thomas is preceded in death by his grandson David Zepeda. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucia Aguirre; son George Aguirre and wife Glenda and their children; Joshua Little, Jodi Brannen and Juanita Aguirre, daughter Esther Aguirre and her daughter Deborah Zepeda, daughter Olivia Kristof and husband Keenan and their children; Angela Kristof and Cristine Kristof.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm with Rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 1:00 pm at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Place Blvd Houston, Texas 77017. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
