Vallory loved to go shopping for jewelry, wardrobe, antiqueing & hit all of the Dollar stores. She loved taking cruises, doing yard wk, gardening, house decorating & was an avid reader; including books of faith & the Holy Bible. She loved singing in the church choir- beautifully outsinging everyone around her. Vallory taught Sunday School for approximately 50 yrs where she was very involved in church & Women's activities. She loved taking the trip to Billy Graham's Cove Retreat/Training Center (her favorite place). She was very organized & creative, very feminine w/great taste in everything. She loved life itself, having the energy of 5 people - we called her "The Energizer Bunny"; because she never stopped going - was fast at everything, doing 5 things simultaneously & talked 90 miles a minute. Vallory was precise with everything; especially dating things; including photos. She "loved" to take pictures, write scripts, dateing books & things she gave to others. She was a very strong woman in Christ. She loved Southern Gospel music, Church hymns & soft music which included: Yanni, Enya & John Tesh. Vallory was a great Holiday baker (she did enormous amounts of baking from year to year). She was well known for her Southern fried chicken & smothered fried potatoes, all cooked in an iron skillet & made the best sweet tea. She loved cats, dogs & taking road trips to visit her 5 sisters, 2 brothers & parents. Vallory was a very hard worker, intelligent, thoughtful , very giving of herself, who had a soft/sensitive/caring heart with a very gentle spirit; the greatest gift she had was her genuine & unsurmountable "Unconditional Love" - always giving - "never" expecting anything in return. It was the Love of Christ that kept her. As it is written: .... ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:21
