I am so sorry to learn of Virgil's passing. He was my first supervisor when I started work out at NASA and and I have some wonderful memories of working with him. We kept in touch with each other after we both move to different positions at NASA and USA. Even after his retirement we would tag up from time to time on Facebook.
He will be greatly missed. Sending love and prayers to his family and friends.
