Walter Brooks Elliott, 89, of League City, Texas, passed away on June 5, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce Elliott. Walter is survived by his two sons Mike, Gary and grandchildren, Nicole, Scott and great granddaughter Kinleigh,
and sister Wilma. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Walter was born March 23, 1924, in Chester, Texas. He enlisted with the U.S. Seabees and served in World War II on Iowa Jima. He later worked for Amoco Oil Co. in Texas City and subsequently retired.
We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him.
The family will be accepting visitors from Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Forest Park East. At the request of Walter, no formal funeral service will be held. The family will hold a private burial service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
