Wendell Guinn

Dana Wendell Guinn, age 73, of Pasadena Texas, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was born in Egg Harbor, New Jersey on March 14, 1951 and from the age of 14 months, his grandparents Wendell and Elizabeth Guinn became his parents.

Wendell's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Donna Guinn; daughters Mary Branton and Stacey Prior (Matt); son: Stephen Guinn; granddaughters Sydney, Logan, and Jordyn Prior; siblings: Marlene Schwartz, Kate Huffman (Don), Tina Thimlar (Scott), and Jim Smart (Becky); sisters-in-law Linda Smart and Marie Simon (Toby); brothers-in-law Tommy Kelly (Lydia) and Don Murphy (Rose) along with numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Walter Allison.

Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Peggy Murphy and Judi McLaskey; brother Tom Smart and nephew Roger Murphy.

Because of declining health Wendell retired from the trucking industry in 2024.

His favorite hobbies were: photography, fishing, antique hunting with his wife, and working with his son's scout troop and helping Stephen obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. In the past year, his newest hobby was watching his favorite game show Price Is Right.

He was a kind and considerate man and very loyal to his family and friends. His quick wit and laughter will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate to know him.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 (his birthday) at 1:00 pm at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster Texas.
