William John Groce Jr. passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 75. A resident of Friendswood, Texas, William was born on February 24, 1950, in Cookville, Tennessee, to William John Grace Sr. and Lenora Phy-Groce.
William shared 43 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Groce. He dedicated 45 years of his professional life to Bridgestone-Firestone, where he made many lasting friendships and memories. Prior to his career, he proudly served in the Air Force for seven years, a time he often reminisced about with great fondness. Known for his passion for airplanes and motorcycles, William was always ready for an adventure, whether it was soaring through the skies or cruising on the open road.
William is survived by his wife, Mary, and their children: Chad (Tempest), Eric (Brandy), Tiffany, and Kevin. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
In remembering William, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love and laughter.
