Yvonne Adams

She was born in Pineland, Texas, on September 8, 1930, to Leroy and Gladys Pattillo.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 65 years, Talmadge (T.L.) Adams; children: Cyndy Klossner and husband Jerry of Wimberley, LeWan Adams of Woodville, and Lamar Adams and wife Mary of Pearland. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Karen Morris and husband Gene of Houston, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Gladys Pattillo, and brother Leroy Pattillo, Jr.

Yvonne attended Galena Park High School and married Talmadge in 1947. She loved and served her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pasadena, and active in the Hope Sunday School Class and the weekly Bible luncheon.

Yvonne was a sweet, happy, thoughtful, generous individual who loved and cared for her family and friends. In spite of her multiple health problems, she was courageous and independent. She was loved by all and her absence will be felt by many, including her two adoring dogs, Stitch and Penny.
