To Adrianne’s Family,

I was devastated to hear of the passing of Adrianne. I have very fond memories of her in high school. She always had a kind word for others. She has been in my prayers and I know she went to the Lord and reunited with her parents and sisters. To her family I offer my sincerest condolences for your loss.

I first med Adrianne my freshman year of college.   We became fast friends and even went to spring break together in Fort Lauderdale by greyhound bus!   We were so young and naive, and both definitely country mice in the big city.   We remained close friends until we graduated in 1986.   Later in life I met my husband and moved to Provincetown.  It was always so great to run into her around town.  She had the most beautiful welcoming smile, we would always give each other a hug when we saw each other. Dear Taylor, I only just saw this-- how is it even possible that Adrianne's life was cut so short, so soon after your grandparents'?!  Your mom was such a good, kind, caring, loving woman, a light in all seasons.  I'll always remember her as a bright teenager in Roslyn's office, then learning from life as much as from books as she grew up....and I mourn her in this dark time when the most basic principles of  justice and compassion are threatened in our own country.   Hope you're getting lots of love and real sustenance from your nearest and dearest, and from the friends who know you best.  And glimmers of encouragement when your little guy laughs...his name says it all, literally a gift from G-d (whether or not we believe in a particular form or faith).

I was so sorry to have learned of Adrienne's passing. We worked together at the Provincetown Banner and talked a lot together about work and life.

I stumbled upon this announcement on Facebook and instantly knew I had met Adrianne many, many years ago. We were kids...I was 5 years older. Our family came to P'town once a year to visit relatives, of which the Strongs were a big part of that visit (Joyce's side). We loved the Strongs and enjoyed thoroughly our times with them. My memories of Adrianne and her family were part of what made coming to P'town a wonderful time. God bless the family in a deep and powerful way as you walk this very hard journey of grief. My Heart  grieves  for Adrianne’s family especially for Taylor having a child of her own now without her mom is just so sad it’s not fair to loose such a good person so soon. Adrianne was one of my dearest oldest friends  she will truly be missed but never forgotten 💔💔💔

I'm so sorry. We all are going to miss her dearly. I love you.

Adrianne was one of my four beautiful cousins to my Uncle Johnny and Aunt Joyce. We always lived far apart distance wise, but they always made me feel so loved and it was so exciting when we got to see them at family reunions or weddings.  I admired them and always thought they were incredibly “ cool” and gorgeous. I grieve for Taylor’s family and for Johnna and her family for the unimaginable loss yet again of an irreplaceable immediate family member. I’m so thankful for social media so I can partake in their lives virtually, but it’s times like these I wish we lived closer so I could cover them with all the love they’ve always shared with me.

Johnna, I'm so sorry to hear of Adrienne's passing. My dad passed away the same day and I learned about Adrienne while at Nickerson's. My experience with Adrienne was only with her as an OCHS patient when I worked at the front desk, but she was always a delight every time I saw her and was incredibly positive and kind. I remember she always had a very large Dunkin's iced coffee with her. I hope you take comfort in knowing that even in the smallest of interactions, like a patient checking in for an appointment, Adrienne left a great impact.
