

Bernadine (Coleman) Franklin, 97 of South Wellfleet, MA. Bee was born and educated in Boston, MA. Predeceased by her loving husband, Robert W. Franklin. Daughter of Jeremiah and Helena (Holland) Coleman of Dorchester, MA. A former resident of Wollaston, Bee spent summers on Cape Cod since 1948 before finally retiring there with her husband. She worked in sales before becoming a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a long time employee of the former New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. She was a member of the Rug Braiders, Knitters and Quilters of Nauset Adult Education and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes. She was predeceased by her four sisters; Marguerite, Helena, Veronica and Mary. She is survived by nephews and nieces Edward Salzberg, Henry Lynch, Michael Lynch, Ann Marie Henry, Barbara Forte and Patricia Connolly. She is also survived by many, many nieces, nephews and great, great, great nieces and nephews as well as countless loving friends including David and Brian Darajky and Dawn-Ann (Darajky) Dykeman.
The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the Wellfleet Police, Wellfleet Rescue, Elder Affairs and the VNA Hospice workers. Our special thanks go to our angel on earth, Melissa Shantz for the incredible care you gave our Aunt.
